EMA TimingDesigner 9.3 Available for Download

EMA TimingDesigner 9.3 is now available for download. The latest version features significant upgrades to virtually every aspect of the product. Release highlights include:

  • Multi-Diagram Interface
  • Tabbed Spreadsheets
  • Advanced Styling & Documentation
  • WYSIWYG Image Export

    Cadence OrCAD & Allegro 16.6 Now Available for Download

    Cadence OrCAD & Allegro release 16.6 is now available for download from the EMA Engineering Resource Center (ERC). OrCAD 16.6 will be provided free of charge to customers on active maintenance as of 10/15/2012.

    IMPORTANT: OrCAD 16.6 requires a new license file to run. EMA will begin sending license updates to eligible customers starting December 2012. If you have not received your license file by December 31, or need to update sooner please send an update request to update@ema-eda.com

    Component Information Portal (CIP) 4.3 Released:

    EMA announced the release of version 4.3 of the Component Information Portal today, which offers component data management capabilities and live access to distributor part data including the newly added Arrow Electronics. To learn more about CIP, please visit the EMA Website.

    CircuitSpace Version 4.2 Released:

    EMA announced the release of version 4.2 of the Circuitspace today. Version 4.2 provides users the ability to list suffix range definitions through board parameters dialog, define cluster keep position or define cluster reposition while crossprobing with the Allegro interface and select components by typical Allegro selection methods then request that CircuitSpace creates a cluster from those selected.     EMA Announces TimingDesigner 9.25

    EMA today announced TimingDesignerŪ 9.25, which features automated interface analysis capabilities designed to save valuable design time while still ensuring thorough and accurate timing analysis. New features include:

    • Automated generation of interface timing analysis with AutoMerge
    • Expanded import support for Cadence® Allegro® PCB SI and additional signal integrity file formats
    • New features for tracking edits, including save and export history
    • New features for identifying critical constraints and error events
